Our Story
There is an indescribable feeling that comes with wearing something that carries home within it.
The weight of good fabric.
The precision of careful embroidery.
The quiet confidence of knowing you belong — to a culture, to a history, to something bigger than yourself.
Living between India and the UK, we have always carried that feeling with us. In wardrobes filled with pieces chosen abroad. In wedding seasons planned around flights. In last-minute trips made simply to find designs that felt current, refined, and worthy of the moment.
Because too often, the quality we trusted and the craftsmanship we valued felt just out of reach.
And each time, it left an unspoken question —
Why should heritage feel distant?
Why should tradition require travel?
Citta was born from that space.
From the desire to bring what we love closer. From the belief that cultural clothing should not live in suitcases or airport shopping lists, but in everyday UK homes — ready for weddings in London, celebrations in Birmingham, festivals in Manchester.
Founded by Kriti and Kishan, Citta is a reflection of living between two worlds without wanting to lose either. Thoughtfully designed ethnic wear that honours its roots while belonging fully in the present.
Because culture does not stay behind when you move.
It grows with you.
And what you wear should feel like home — wherever you are.
Welcome to Citta.
